The Chairman of the Council, Prof. Adedayo Emmanuel Fasakin, along with other council members, visited the office of Ekiti State Deputy Governor, Chief Mrs. Monisade Afuye, to express appreciation and solicit support for the development of the Institution.
In a bid to foster collaboration and seek support for the growth and development of the Ekiti State Polytechnic, the Chairman of the Council, Prof. Adedayo Emmanuel Fasakin, led other council members to the office of the Deputy Governor, Chief Mrs. Monisade Afuye.
During the visit, Prof. Fasakin expressed gratitude to the Deputy Governor and the State Government for their continued support towards the institution. He emphasized the council's commitment to ensuring the institution achieves unprecedented success under their watch.
In her response, Chief Mrs. Monisade Afuye commended the council for the visit and charged them to utilize their positions to drive growth and development in the polytechnic. She highlighted the recent increase in the subvention given to the school by the State Government, expressing optimism that this would facilitate the institution's progress.
Chief Mrs. Afuye also called for the introduction of skill acquisition training for students, noting its importance in preparing them for the job market. She assured the council of her willingness to present their requests to the Governor, further demonstrating the State Government's commitment to supporting the polytechnic's advancement.
The visit underscores the importance of collaboration between the state government and educational institutions in promoting quality education and skill development in Ekiti State.
