EKSPOLY GOVERNING COUNCIL HOLDS INAUGURAL MEETING

The newly inaugurated Governing Council of Ekiti State Polytechnic Iṣan Ekiti, under the chairmanship of the former Rector of Federal Polytechnic Ile-oluji, Ondo State, Professor Adedayo Emmanuel Fasakin, held its inaugural meeting on Wednesday April 24, 2024.

The council's first order of business was a visit to the institution, where they were warmly received by the Polytechnic Management team led by the Rector, Prof Johnson Adesodun.

During their visit, the council members were given a tour of the campus, familiarizing themselves with the facilities and infrastructure of the polytechnic. This tour allowed the council to gain a better understanding of the institution's needs and challenges.

Following their visit to the Polytechnic, the council paid a courtesy visit to the Onisan of Iṣan Ekiti, Obá Gabriel Adejuwon, seeking his royal blessings and support. The council emphasized its commitment to the success, development, and peace of the institution, as well as to fostering a more robust relationship with the local community.

In response, Oba Adejuwon expressed his pleasure at the council's visit and advised them to contribute their quota towards the development of the Polytechnic. He emphasized the importance of collaboration between the council, the institution, and the community for the overall growth and success of the Polytechnic.

The inaugural meeting and the subsequent visits underscore the council's commitment to working closely with the Polytechnic and the community to ensure the institution's continued progress and development.
