In a significant development aimed at strengthening its academic leadership, Mr. Ebenezer Akinyemi Ajayi has been appointed as the Deputy Rector (Academics) of Ekiti State Polytechnic, Isan-Ekiti.
His appointment was ratified by the Governing Council of the Polytechnic at its last statutory meeting, following the recommendations of the Academic Board. Mr. Ajayi, the most senior academic staff member of the institution, was unanimously endorsed for the position.
Until his new appointment, Mr. Ajayi served as the Head of Department, Computer Science, and also headed the Information and Communication Technology Resource Centre (ICTRC) of the Polytechnic.
The Rector, Management, Staff, and Students of Ekiti State Polytechnic have expressed confidence in Mr. Ajayi’s capacity to excel in his new role and further advance the institution’s academic profile.
His wealth of experience and outstanding leadership track record are expected to further strengthen the academic operations of the institution.
