The Rector of Ekiti State Polytechnic, Iṣan Ekiti, Prof. Johnson Kayode Adesodun, has reaffirmed the institution's commitment to ensuring the safety and prosperity of its staff and students.

Prof. Adesodun made this pledge on Wednesday June 26, 2024 in his office, while playing host to the new Divisional Officer of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC), Ifẹsowapọ LCDA Division, Superintendent Omoya Salaudeen.

During the meeting, the Rector expressed his dedication to providing robust support to various security agencies both within the Polytechnic and in the surrounding community. "We are committed to partnering with all security apparatus to guarantee the security of lives and properties on our campus," Prof. Adesodun stated.

Superintendent Salaudeen, the newly appointed Divisional Officer, assured the Polytechnic management of the NSCDC's unwavering support in safeguarding national assets and infrastructure in and around the Polytechnic. He emphasized that maintaining security within the educational environment is a top priority for his team.

The visit marked the beginning of what both parties hope will be a fruitful collaboration aimed at enhancing security measures and ensuring a safe educational atmosphere for all members of the Polytechnic community.
