Ekiti State Polytechnic, Iṣan-Ekiti, received commendation for its development strides under the leadership of its pioneer Rector, Prof. Johnson Kayode Adesodun.
The accolades came from the College of Plant Science and Crop Production at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, and the Association of Dean of Agriculture in Nigerian Universities.
Prof. Jonathan Atungwu, Dean of the College of Plant Science and Crop Production and Secretary of the Association of Dean of Agriculture in Nigerian Universities, lauded Prof. Adesodun's efforts during a visit on Friday, July 26, 2024. He highlighted the Rector's various initiatives that have elevated the Polytechnic to be among the best in the country.
"Prof. Adesodun's dedication and innovative approach have significantly advanced the Polytechnic, making it a model Institution," said Prof. Atungwu. "The College and the Association are extremely proud of his achievements."
In recognition of his contributions, the Association of Dean of Agriculture in Nigerian Universities presented Prof. Adesodun, a Professor of Soil Physics, with a gift.
